Turn Back the Clock: Biological versus Chronological Age

One of the main reasons I gravitated toward integrative health was the focus on HEALTH span, not just LIFE span.

What is our health span?

This is the the length of time that a person remains healthy while they are alive. Unfortunately, our health span is at risk because of the sedentary nature of our work, the standard American diet, and the constant overstimulation we all face. These are all leading us down a dark path of chronic disease.

To delineate the difference in your chronological vs biological age, I’ll put it simply. Your chronological age is the number of years you’ve been alive on this earth, while biological age tells us how your cells and tissues are aging based on your physiology.

In my opinion, nothing is more essential than quality of life. To put it frankly, no one wants to live long if they are going to feel miserable on the way there. I think it’s safe to say our collective goal is to live longer, feel better, and truly thrive.

My mission as a provider is to help you LOWER your biological age. I was personally fascinated when I tested my biological age at 30, and I was biologically 14 years old! That means that although I am chronologically 30, my cells and tissues were that of a healthy 14 year old in terms of physiological health. I attribute this to a whole foods diet, my passion for yoga and meditation, and my commitment to wellness practices.

I am here to teach you and guide you in lowering your biological age so you can feel AMAZING and flourish into your BEST self.

Now you can be not only “young at heart”, but young in mind, body, and soul!
